What We Believe...
That there is only one true God: the Triune God, Father, Son and Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians. 8:4; Matthew 28:19)
That the Bible is the inspired, inerrant Word of God, reliable in all its parts, and the only standard for faith and life (2 Timothy. 3:16; 2 Peter 1:21; John 10:35
That all human beings are sinful from birth, separated from God, and need to be reconciled to him (Psalm 51:5; Romans 3:10-12; John 6:44).
That by his suffering and death on the Cross, Jesus Christ made complete payment for our sins (John 3:16; Romans 4:25 1 Corinthians 15:1-4; Luke 19:10).
That we receive the benefits of Christ's redemption through faith. When one believes that Jesus died and rose again for him, then he is added to God's family and is assured of eternal life (John 11:25-26; Romans 1:16-17; Romans 3:22).
God's Spirit uses the preaching of the Word as well as the Sacraments of Baptism and Holy communion to strengthen and preserve us in the faith (Acts 2:38-42; Isaiah 55:10-11).
Christ will return at the Last Day to judge the living and the dead (Matthew 25:31-46).
